Satan Rules until Judgement Day

Iblis is the biblical Satan, in the Quran, he refuses to bow down to Adam at creation and is told to leave Paradise. Satan begs pardon, and is reprieved until the Day of Judgement, this would be, The Day of Atonement, when he is chained by an angel and sealed in prison for 1000 years.

Surah 7:11-15 “And surely, We created (your father Adam) and then gave you shape (the noble shape of a human being); then We told the angels, “Prostrate yourselves to Adam”, and they prostrated themselves, except Iblis (Satan), he refused to be of those who prostrated themselves. God said, “What prevented you (O Iblis (Satan)) that you did not prostrate yourself, when I commanded you? Satan said: I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay. “ God said: O Satan get down from this (Paradise), it is not for you to be arrogant here. Get out, for you are of those humiliated and disgraced.” Satan said: “Allow me respite till the Day they are raised up (I.e. the Day of Resurrection).” God said: “You are of those respited.””

Revelation 20:1-3, “Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he could deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished.”

Psalm 104:4, “Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire”.
