Tarot and Book of Revelation Confirmed

Arthur Waite in his book, The Mysteries of Magic, a Digest of the Writings of Eliphas Levi confirms the link between the 22 major arcana tarot cards with the book of Revelation.

He writes on page 34 of the pdf,

Its name Tarot suggests a connection with Tora, "the sacramental name which the Jews give to their inspired book." Its twenty-two trump cards recall the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, the twenty-two chapters of the mystical book of the Apocalypse."

On page 304,

"It was at the epoch of the Gnostic and Manichrean heresies that the Tarot was lost to the Church, and it was at the same period that the meaning of the divine Apocalypse was also lost. It was no longer known that the seven seals of this Kabbalistic book arc seven pantacles to be explained by the analogies of the numbers, characters, and symbols of the Tarot."

The true meaning of the Tarot (or torah cards) were lost to the church. The 22 major cards reflect the story of the book of Revelation (with the fool card (zero) being chapter 22).

The Holy Day Season is Tarot cards 19, 20, 21, 22. The tarot cards are Golden Dawn.

This is referring to the return of Jesus Christ. His face shines as the "sun".

The return of Christ ushers in the Great White Throne Judgement, the resurrection of the dead to "judgement".

A new heavens and earth is created. Order is restored.

22, FOOL

The foolish are left out of the kingdom in Rev 22 including the foolish Virgins. Mankind goes back to the garden of Eden in Paradise.
